Bender Strength ("we," "us") is operated by Scott Bender. This policy explains what information we collect through the Bender Strength website and coaching app, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you become a client or use the app, we collect: your name, email address, and phone number; profile details you choose to provide (birthday, sex, height, profile photo); health and fitness information you log (workouts, weights, habits, body measurements, check in responses, meal photos and notes); messages you send within the app; and documents you sign electronically (including your typed name and the time of signature).
Your information is used only to deliver coaching services: building and adjusting your training program, tracking your progress, communicating with you, and managing your client relationship (including agreements and, where applicable, billing). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
Data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage) and the app is hosted by Vercel, both reputable infrastructure providers with industry standard security. Transactional emails are sent through Resend. All data moves over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and passwords are stored only in securely hashed form — we never see or store your actual password.
Your coach (Scott Bender) can see the information you log in the app. Other clients cannot see your data, with one exception: messages you post in a group chat are visible to that group's members. Private coach notes are not visible to you or other clients.
You may update your profile information in the app at any time. You may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and data by emailing scott.w.bender@gmail.com. We will honor deletion requests within 30 days, except records we are required to keep (such as signed agreements).
The app uses essential cookies only, to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Our services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Significant changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
